Middle East:
wave of low pressure will be positioned over eastern Pakistan. Rainfalls of 5 to 10 mm will be likely over areas to the east of Islamabad. Elsewhere, onshore winds from the Arabian Sea will lead to an influx of moisture and a few scattered showers over central and western portions of Yemen. A ridge of high pressure will extend from the United Arab Emirates northeast across the Persian Gulf to northern Iran. This setup will result in sunny, super hot weather from eastern Saudi Arabia and southern Iraq east to central portions of Afghanistan and Pakistan. Over the north, the jet stream will induce a few minor showers over portions of Armenia and Azerbaijan. All other areas will be quiet including Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan. Highs will reach 38C in Damascus with full sunshine, 44C in Kandahar with full sunshine, and a hot 45C in Kuwait City with abundance of sunshine.
Europe:
Two separate areas of low pressure will be affecting the weather over the European continent. One storm system will be positioned over western European Russia.
